There are lots of spread betting companies, why should I deal with  Pretium Securities Ltd ?

Does Pretium Securities charge commission?

No. We do not charge commission or any other dealing fees. We make all our profit from our dealing spread. For all our bets the price at which you 'buy' is slightly higher than the price at which you 'sell'.

Are my profits really tax-free?

Yes. Pretium Securities whom are an IB to  IG Index who are a licensed bookmaker and there is no capital gains tax to pay on betting profits under current UK law. Please note that tax law can, of course, be changed in the future and may differ if you pay tax in a jurisdiction other than the UK.

Can I place orders with you?

Yes, when you deal by telephone, you can use Stops and Limits to manage your open positions and/or leave orders with us to open new deals.
